70% dark Tanzania Women’s lot

Round dark chocolate with notes of cherry & coffee.

This chocolate is made exclusively with cocoa from 3 women headed farms in Tanzania.

 The Sisters at Mbingu, also run an orphanage, nursery, girls’ secondary school, clinic, and some other projects in the area. The second farmer is Anna Muyesi, and the third farm is run by Sarah Maglass.

This cocoa has an extra cost per kilo. This excess charge on the Women’s Lot are used to support a scholarship program that pays for 10 students from the village area to finish high school.

 Certified Organic – Our cocoa beans come from Kilombero valley, bordering the Udzungwa Mountain national park. There the social enterprise Kokoa Kamili drives a huge change by buying wet beans directly from the farmers at premium prices, and carefully controlling fermentation and drying.

100% organic

All of our single-origin bars are made with just cocoa beans, sugar and cocoa butter. Our chocolates are free of soy, dairy, eggs, and gluten. No added lecithin, or vanilla.
