Piura Porcelana 75%
Original Beans discovered this ultra-rare white cacao in the Piura River Valley of Northern Peru in 2007. Due to its lively fruit flavours, it has become one of the best awarded international beans. With a cacao content of 75% and a 22-hour conch, Original Beans presents a very elegant yet luscious dark chocolate with notes of lime, raspberry and roasted nuts. The conservation objective here is reforesting the nearby mountain slopes to restore a stable water supply of this dry land.

Cru Virunga 70%
This cacao is grown in the buffer zone of Virunga National Park in part of the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. It is Africa? oldest nature park and home to the last wild mountain gorillas in the world. This lively dark chocolate has a cacao content of 70% and is conched for 20 hours. It has a strong finish with hints of black tea.

Cru Udzungwa 70% with nibs

Udzungwa Mountains National Park is an important safe haven for Tanzania’s endangered elephants. In the villages surrounding the park, people have begun to grow fine Trinitario cacao in organic cacao gardens. Purchase of Cru Udzungwa supports the farmers and in turn their stewardship of the Park and its gentle giants.

Esmeraldas Milk 42%
This smooth-melting organic chocolate contains original Arriba beans from the rainforests of the Esmeraldas. The Arriba gives this velvety milk chocolate with 42% cacao a nutty flavor, in addition to the significant salt caramel and red summer fruit flavors. Original Beans supports the Forest for a Living initiative for more sustainable cacao cultivation and the preservation of Mache Chindul, the main remaining cloud forest along the Ecuadorian coastline.
